The pool was quiet for Carol’s early morning swim

Simple check-in and embarkation process. A little bit of a queue to drop the car off, easy process though and the staff were very efficient.

First lot of tears, very emotional as the horn played the love boat theme as we started to pull away. They are doing a big British sail away. Brits with shirts off, marching to I’m gonna be (500 miles) by the Proclaimers. The Americans must think the Brits are bonkers.

Beautiful ship and cabin, very contemporary in style.

1st day was an early morning dip in the adults only pool at the back of the ship then a stroll around to get our bearings.
