We are Carol and Paul, we have a long travel bucket list and are determined to get to visit and experience all of these places. We will at some point share the list, that will be in the future.

We are both early retired. Covid made us realise that we don’t know what is around the next corner and that we should get travelling to see some of these places on our bucket list. Nobody ever said on their deathbed “I wish I had travelled less”, we plan to enjoy our travels whilst we can.

We have been lucky that pre-covid we did manage to take a couple of long haul trips a year with some city/European breaks thrown into the mix.

Our aim of this website is:

• Provide an update and share photos for our family and friends of our travels

• Create a record and a central place for us to keep our journal/memories of our trips

• Provide some tips, recommendations and ideas for others planning on going to places we have already visited

• Links to places we have stayed, websites we have used, how we book our trips

• For you the reader, a tool to give us gems of places to visit whilst we are in places you have been to, just like our friend Pat did. She saw we were in Bonita Springs in March 2022 and recommended a fabulous, ribs and chicken wing establishment. We loved it, thank you Pat.

We are creating this site as of August 2022/September 2022, it will take a while for the site to grow. We are going live before we have managed to complete all of the sections, please go with the flow.

Before the end of 2022, we will have travelled, sailed a round trip from Southampton to Canada, New England and New York and to round the year off we will be sailing our 1st river cruise to sample the German Christmas markets.
